Week 2 Results

The dancers started the show with a Mia Michaels routine. I thought it was cool. Then they showed a video of Lil C's comments from the night before. It was funny because he uses so many big words. Melissa and Ade were the first couple. They were safe. Caitlyn and Jason were next. They were in the bottom 3. That was a little shocking to me because when they were dancing my eyes just went vroom over to Caitlyn. Phillip and Jeanine were next. They were safe :O. Janette and Brandon were next. They were safe. Karla and Jonathan were next. They were safe. Ashley and Kupono were next. They were in the bottom 3. That was OK because their routine was a little boring. Randi and Evan were next. But before they showed them, there was a surprise for Evan. His brother, Ryan showed up on the screen and showed that he auditioned for the show next year, coming out this fall. Randi and Evan were shown dancing next. They were safe. Asuka and Vitolio were next. They were safe. Kayla and Max were last. They were in the bottom 3 :O. I liked their dance. Next, they showed an Indian dancer, which didn't do much for me. Caitlyn danced first. Jason danced next. Ashley danced next. Kupono danced next. Kayla danced next. Max danced last. Christinea Debarge sung. Yay? Should I say yay? Ashley and Max were eliminated.

Week 2 Dances

Lil C was the guest judge. Dorey's in love! Before Randi and Evan started dancing, Cat revealed that they were going to tell what America didn't know about them. Evan said Randi talks to her dog like a child and calls her dog on the phone but she also puts it on speaker phone. Randi said Evan is a car geek. They got Jive. Every time they said "fun", a mark popped up saying how many times they said it. I thought it was fun. Lil C said Evan was a little off in speed and Randi was a firecracker. When Mary started talking, marks appeared saying how much times they said "fun". Mary said they were built for the jive. Nigel thought they would be better than they were. Next were Ade and Melissa. Ade said that Melissa's sister is married to her husband's brother. Melissa said that Ade's full name is Adetokunbo Isaac Kayode Obayomi. They got jazz. I liked it. Lil C liked it. Mary put some tough love on because it was tough to find anything she didn't love about it. Nigel liked it. Caitlyn and Jason were next. Caitlyn said Jason has a huge obsession with Michael Jackson even when he was younger. Jason said Caitlyn uses baby voices and she also does the Velociraptor. They got hip hop. I couldn't keep my eyes off of Caitlyn. Lil C didn't love it. Mary thought it was like Michael Jackson and Brittany Spears. Nigel liked it. Brandon said when Janette was younger she had the worst teeth. Janette said that Brandon, even though he's very strong, has never worked out in his life. And you could even hear the audience gasping in shock when she said that. They got disco. I liked it but most of the time, I wasn't really concentrating on the dance because there were these colorful lights flashing on the dancefloor that I just wanted to have for myself. Lil C liked it but there was one mishap when Janette tripped. Mary was very impressed. Nigel said if he could stand up and scream like Mary, he would. Asuka and Vitolio were next. Asuka said Vitolio is obsessed with motorcycles. Vitolio said Asuka blows spit bubbles. They got waltz. I loved it. Mary started crying. Lil C liked it. Nigel liked it. Kayla and Max were next. Kayla said Max cooks for everyone in the appartment. Max said Kayla texts alot. They got jazz. I liked it. Lil C liked it. Mary saw past Max's costume and saw great dancing. Karla and Jonathan were next. Jonathan said Karla is a great hip-hop dancer. Karla said Jonathan loves to sing. They got contemporary. I liked it. Mary loved it. Nigel loved it. Lil C liked it. Jeanine and Phillip were next. Jeanine said when Phillip was little he collected reptiles because of a school project. Phillip said Jeanine treats her stuffed bear, Spanky, like her boyfreind. They got Tango. It was OK to me. Mary was a little disapointed with Phillip. Lil C was amazed with just what Phillip naturally does but his knees shouldn't have been bent. Cat called into the audience for Tony (the choreographer) and asked if they should have been. They were supposed to be. Nigel said he loved the way his knees were bent. Ashley and Kupono were last. Ashley said Kupono's wardrobe is insane. Kupono said Ashley's first day of first grade she had to go down for story time and she puked over everyone. They got hip hop. I liked it. Mary thought it was OK. Lil C thought Kupono struggled. Nigel was happy when the jackets came off but sad when it stopped right after.

The whole cast did their group routine choreographed by Shane Sparks. Then they showed a video of their first week. They had some 'rules' for good partnering. The first was respect boundaries. The next was comunication. The next was feel comfortable. The next was share hobbies. The last was hard work. The first couple they showed from the night before was Kayla and Max. They were safe. Randi and Evan were shown next. They were safe. Jeanine and Phillip were next. They were safe. Caitlyn and Jason were next. They were safe. Melissa and Ade were next. They were safe. Ashley and Kupono were next. They were safe. Paris and Tony were next. They were in the bottom 3. Asuka and Vitolio were next. They were in the bottom 3. Brandon and Janette were next. They were safe. Karla and Joanathan were last. They were in the bottom 3. Then they showed a tango. Then the dancers in danger did their solos. While the judges deliberated, Shawn Kingston performed for everyone. yay. Karla, Asuka, Jonathan and Vitolio were safe. Paris and Tony were sent home.

Top 20

The top 20 are Ashley, Ade ( Pronounced A Day), Asuka, Brandon, Caitlin, Evan, Janette, Jason, Jeanine, Jonathan, Karla, Kupono, Kayla, Max, Melissa, Phillip, Paris, Tony, Randi and Vitolio. The guest judge was Adam Shankman. Jeanine and Phillip were the first couple to dance. They got hip-hop with Tabitha and Napoleon, who choreographed some of my favorite routines last year. Adam thought it was great, Mary screamed and Nigel thought it was great. The next couple was Asuka and Vitolio. They got broadway with Tyce Diorio. Adam thought that the routine was a character routine that was emotional but they danced really good. Mary was a little disapointed. Nigel thought their lines were good but the dancing needing work. The next couple was Karla and Jonathan. They got cha cha with Tony Meredith. After the routine, someone held up a sign that said 'Jon-Jon, shake your bon-bon.' Adam loved it. Mary screamed again. Nigel liked it. Next were Randi and Evan. They got jazz with Tyce Diorio. Adam was impressed. Mary thought the stars had come out that night. Nigel loved it. Next were Paris and Tony. They got hip hop with Tabitha and Napoleon. Adam liked it. Mary didn't think it would be memorable. Nigel was a little disapointed. The next couple was Caitlin and Jason. They got bollywood. Adam LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED it. Mary was happy Bollywood came to Hollywood. Nigel liked it. The next couple was Janette and Brandon. They got Fox Trot. Adam thought it was lovely. Cat wanted Mary to do an eyebrow raise and she said that she couldn't do it because of botox. The whole crowd just went nuts. Mary thought they were great. Nigel was impressed. The next couple were Ashley and Kupono. They got jazz with Wade Robson. Adam was amazed. Mary thought they comepletely played their characters. Nigel felt like he was in a different world while they were dancing. Melissa and Ade were next. They got contemporary with Mandy Moore. Adam loved it. Again, Mary screamed. Nigel liked it. Kayla and Max were last. They got samba. Adam thought it was amazing. Mary put them on the hot tamale train. Nigel loved it.
